Co-creators Donnetrice Allison and Aaron Moss bring a fresh, behind the scenes look at teaching in America's colleges as a Black woman.
Donnetrice Allison
Donnetrice Allison is a Professor of Communications and Africana Studies at Stockton University in Galloway, NJ. Dr. Allison has been a Communications Studies scholar for more than two decades, and has published several articles and conference presentations on hip-hop culture and media portrayals of African Americans. Not only is Dr. Allison a published scholar, but she is also a creative writer, with a passion for bringing realistic Black life to the big and small screen.
Aaron Moss
Aaron Moss is an American actor, director, and producer best known for The First Purge (Universal Pictures), American Hustle (Columbia Pictures) and Mixed Up (Amazon Prime), which he directed and produced. Aaron has appeared in tv commercials and has voiced the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's national commercials. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama. This pilot marks Aaron's episodic tv directing debut.
